PEER REVIEWS_
As part of our research development, it was important to show our work to others. Not being very confident when talking in front of others, it was a little daunting. However as it was only a small group of people I knew, I soon settled down.
Some feedback I received:
_ Good visuals from sketchbook
_ Research flowed well with clear explanation
_ Wide range of research, deep understanding of the 70s
_ Information was clear and relevant, related to the brief
_ Focused research, shows direction
_ Sketchbook laid out well
_ Communicated well to the audience
_ Could have been more confident when presenting work, project voice more
_ Relax, talk slower, practice beforehand
_ Technical difficulties, iPad presentation didn't work on the day. Could have had a print out for back up
For me this was a positive experience, and it helped me to develop my ideas further- not only in my work but also when presenting in the future (it’s all practice). The feedback I was given was very valuable, and although I felt I didn't do very well, it was helpful to have another point of view. I agreed with the comments, especially with the presentation side- I do need to practice before I present to get a feel for it, therefore I wouldn't be so nervous as I know what is coming. As for my body of work, it was nice to hear that The saw the direction I was taking, and could give me constructive feedback as to what they thought would be effective.
